Churupampa
About This Coffee
Nestled in the highlands of Chirinos, Cajamarca, Peru, Finca Churupampa is a shining example of progressive, sustainable coffee farming. Under the leadership of the Tocto brothers, who took over from their parents, the farm has evolved into a model of economic and environmental stewardship. Beyond producing exceptional coffee, the Toctos support a network of 215 neighboring farmers by offering export and marketing services, empowering the entire community.
Finca Churupampa operates a training center that provides open access to education on advanced, sustainable farming practices, helping to break the cycle of poverty that has historically challenged the region. Their commitment extends to organic farming methods and a soil management program that produces rich fertilizers and compost from native forest microorganisms—all contributing to a vibrant and resilient coffee ecosystem.

Supporting Coffee Communities Through the Farmer Impact Fund
Bellwether’s Farmer Impact Fund deepens the connection between coffee lovers and coffee growers by directly investing in the communities that cultivate these beans. A small surcharge on green coffee purchases is pooled into direct payments for producers, allowing them to fund meaningful projects that improve life at both the farm and community levels.
Thanks to the Farmer Impact Fund, the Churupampa Cooperative invested in a food security initiative that empowered 20 coffee-producing families to build vegetable gardens and raise small animals—providing greater access to healthy, homegrown food.
By contributing to the Farmer Impact Fund, you help foster resilience and prosperity among coffee-growing communities—and gain access to marketing materials to showcase the positive impact you're helping create.
